A message from the Head Teacher - Ms Otter
"I honestly couldn’t picture myself anywhere other than Pinewood! I have had the privilege of being Head Teacher here now for nearly a decade – but this position for me goes well beyond a role or a job title – it is the essence of who I am, my passion, my purpose and a way of life. I simply love the place and everything about it – the children, the staff, the environment, the constant drive for excellence, the special feeling that you can’t explain but you feel it the second you walk through the door. It is a very special place!
Relationships are so important to us – we nurture, love and challenge our children to be the best they can be (emotionally, socially and academically) whilst making learning so irresistible that children love coming to school. We allow our children to be who they are and foster their interests, each day being an adventure that we embark on together. The children here are so happy as a result! The staff’s commitment to children’s learning is heart-warming, well beyond the norm and we pride ourselves on working in true partnership with our families. As they grow older children may not always be able to remember what they did at school but they will always remember how we as a school made them feel. Come and see for yourself!"
