Admission arrangements for nursery aged children

We are able to take children in the term after their 3rd birthday, for example if your child turns 3 in July they would start F1 (nursery) in september.

The most suitable age to register your child for a nursery place is 2.5 years old and you can do this by requesting an application pack from the school office. We encourage you to book a visit to have a look around the school before you fill in your application.

Pinewood Acorns

Pinewood Acorns is a paid facility that allows you to pay for extra hours offered to parent/guardians of children aged 3-4 years old.

Parents/guardians can choose to send their children to the Foundation Unit for full days from 8:30am-3:15pm including lunch time. The cost is £15.00 per day excluding a nutritional cooked school dinner of £2:29 per meal. Children can bring a packed lunch if prefered. These arrangements have to be fixed for the current term, but are reviewed termly. There are a limited number of spaces for each day so we operate a waiting list.

These sessions are supervised by our highly qualified team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants.

Fees must be paid weekly or monthly in advance as per our fees policy. If fees are left unpaid after seven days we shall be unable to let your child access Acorns and the sessions will be offered to a parent/guardians on the waiting list. Any child absent on their allocated days will still be charged at the full rate of £15:00 per day i.e. sickness and holidays taken during term time.

If you are interested in the wraparound care facility please contact the school office and speak to Mrs Hill.
